Good morning everyone. Snook fishing in the inlets and around the inlet has been pretty solid, with live Croakers seeming to do the best, though artificial fishermen are catching fish as well. The beaches have had quite a bit of bait lately, with finger mullet starting to move in and glass minnows and Pilchards around as well. With Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, and Bluefish, snook and jacks in the bait schools. shark and tarpon fishing is picking up in the inlet on outgoing tide. The trout bite has been decent to the north of Round Island around “at daylight” with soft baits. The snapper bite has been steady with some nice mangroves around using the small white bait that’s all over in the river.. The tarpon have been around the “Fort Pierce” inlet on the outgoing tide live mullet has been the bait of choice or crabs if you can find them floating. Still throwing the small white fly at night the bait has been super thick and it’s almost 100% the same size as the fly so it’s been on fire we been seeing a lot of Fat snook and tarpon snook move in to spawn plus you always see the Common snook.

right now to the end of the year is a perfect time to try to do a snook slam with all 4 species.
