Fishing report Vero/Fort Pierce A lot of trout around 69 street around the islands and south of the 17th street bridge around the islands. Running the crab pots picking up a few triple tail on the way to each spot. A lot of Bonnet Head sharks and Snook up in the mangroves. The water has been crazy clean and clear. Fort pierce/ Port St. Lucie A lot of Pompano just south of the Southbridge. Good Reds around Bear Point and a lot of Snook and Trout around the power plant. Good Sheepshead fishing on the docks west of the power plant with a lot of Jacks mixed in. Jensen/Stuart. Good size Snook around the walls and docks in the St.Lucie river. A lot of Jacks mixed in still a few Black Drums around the bridge. All the Spanish Mackerel you want just south of the inlet. A few Cobia being pulled off the reefs and a few Spinner Sharks starting to show up. Hot baits this week was the Storm Swim baits, white DOA Paddle Tail Cals, live shrimp, Pilchards, White flies and Spoons. Because the water was so clean and clear I dropped down to 25-20 pound leaders and got more bites. The weather looks amazing for the weekend for more tips or info call/text 772-267-0095
