Fishing report

The forecast calls for the winds to calm down offshore finally for tomorrow and Thursday. Reports indicate that few boats got out over the last few days and the sailfish bite south of Stuart on live bait has been good. Off north Jupiter a few scattered dolphin have been mixed in at 150 to 200ft mark. The kingfish bite also has been good  to the north around the Spanish mackerel schools .The snapper bite should be decent with the weather calming down. A few jack schools have been off the beach, no big fish yet, but a lot of 5-15 pound fish. A few spinner sharks showing up. Also, inshore yesterday the trout bite was good up around Vero's round island along with a few nice reds mixed in. Fishing D.O.A. lures have produced well in the New Penny and Rootbeer color. The gulp shrimp in 3” white has also been good. The flounder bite in the fort pierce inlet on the incoming tide with live shrimp and little finger mullet has been good. The pompano bite is still steady of J.C park and the Sail Fish Flats on the incoming tide with A&S  jigs and sandflease or shrimp if you can get your hands on the fish bites in  clam strips buy some use it ..  the fat snook are moving back up river and I am starting to see much more common snook around the docks. A lot of bait still around keeping the fish happy and active.   Remember you can always call or text to get a updated report in the week 772-267-0095 Capt. James Cronk.
